Quarter turn to top of staircase

In this picture is a quarter turn with kites and winders  at the top of a staircase that was manufactured by GJ Joinery.

This type of turn enables the staircase to change direction but at the same time rising up unlike a quarter-space landing which allows  to change direction but not rise.

This type of turn is used in loft conversions where space is tight .

We always curve the wall strings to make the staircase flow better.
